The 2011 Rincon International Film Festival

The Rincón International Film Festival, April 12-16, 2011, will hold its annual festival in various venues in Rincón, Puerto Rico. Rincon is known as the Surfing Capital of the Caribbean, and has attracted a creative community of painters, musicians and film makers to bring together The Rincon Film Festival, now in its 4th year.
The festival presents the best of independent and international films, short and feature films, in various genres including surfing, horror, romantic comedies, dramas, documentaries, animations and music videos.
This year The New York Film Academy, one of the sponsors, will also give a scholarship award to an up and coming Puerto Rican director.
The series of Puerto Rican films include '100,000', by Juan Agustin Marquez, a documentary about the dog overpopulation problem in Puerto Rico.
